Drop-In

A Safe and Welcoming Space!

Being open later, and on the weekends, is something our community values...and we have been listening! As of mid October 2023, we are now open until 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday!! 

What is Drop-In?

Drop-in and make yourself at home. Drop-In is available to anybody who lives and identifies as a woman, or outside the gender binary, and their children. We always try to provide a safe and welcoming environment and are open to your feedback at any time.

At Drop-In, we provide:

• Scanning and sending documents by e-mail
• Use of the Drop-In computer
• The ability to have your mail sent to the Centre c/o 
• Make referrals
• We have hot drinks/cold drinks and snacks
• Shower or bath between the times Tues-Thurs 11:00-2:30 p.m., Friday/Saturday 1:30-8:00
• Laundry Tues-Thurs 11:00-2:30, Friday/Saturday 1:30-7:30
• Ability to get frozen meals when we aren't offering hot meals
• Peer support from our staff and volunteers
• Ability to use our Drop-In public phone for local calls
• We have a lovely section for our used clothes for people to go through
• We offer weekly programs and special events
