Moms & Kids Summer Rec Program
Program will begin on June 13th, 2026
The Moms and Kids Summer Rec Programs runs mid-June to mid-August and is open for moms. Aunties, caregivers of all kinds, along with their kids ages 5-8. Siblings are welcome, but activities will be geared toward 5-8 year olds.
A free, healthy lunch, paired with weekly outdoor and indoor activities are offered:
- Interactional outings to places like the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Macbride Museum, and Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre
- Outdoor nature exploration and picnics
- hands-on arts and crafts workshops
- Beach days
This program is an opportunity for moms & kids to connect with others, enjoy nature, play together and discover fun resources/activities right in their own backyard of Whitehorse. These activities are designed to educate, create a fun, interactive environment, and help kids make connections.

- Drop-in! Registration is NOT required for this program, but we encourage you to fill out this form if you are interested.
