Moms & Kids Summer Rec Program
2025 program runs from June to August
The Moms and Kids Summer Rec Program runs mid-June to late August and is for moms, aunties, and caregivers of all kinds, along with their kids ages 5 to 8. Siblings are welcome, but activities will be geared toward 5 to 8 year olds.
A healthy lunch, along with weekly outdoor and indoor activities are offered- such as:
- 'Field trips' to places like the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, MacBride Museum, and the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre
- Backyard nature discoveries and picnics
- Arts and crafts workshops
- Beach day
This program is an opportunity for moms & kids to connect with others, enjoy nature, play together and discover fun resources/activities right in their own backyard of Whitehorse.
SUMMER 2025
The Moms & Kids Summer Rec. Program will begin on June 14,2025 and will feature different activities each week.
- Drop-in! Registration NOT required for this summer program, but we encourage you to fill out this form if you are interested.
- SIGN-UP is needed some weeks for special outings when space is limited!
